Supplyco targets Rs 210 crore during Onam

The Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (Supplyco) is targeting a business turnover of Rs 210 crore in the coming Onam season and Rs 2100 crore for the current fiscal 2009-10.

Supplyco Chairman and Managing Director Yogesh Gupta said in Kochi on Wednesday the corporation had got a turn around of Rs 189 crore during last Onam season and the last fiscal turnover was Rs 1851 crore.

Four new hypermarkets would be opened at Ernakulam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam and Thalassery at a total cost of Rs 9.75 crore, he said and added the Supplyco would open about 200 more maveli stores in the state.
