Infosys net profit falls 3.6 per cent

Mysore: Infosys Technologies Ltd posted a net profit of Rs 1,582 crore for the third quarter of this fiscal, registering a decline of 3.6 percent year-on-year.

Announcing the third quarter results, Infosys said the total income was at Rs 5741 crore, a marginal drop of 0.8 per cent over the corresponding quarter last fiscal which was at Rs 5786 crore.

Under the International Financial Regulatory System (IFRS), net income marginally increased by 0.6 percent YoY to $334 million and revenue by 5.2 percent YoY to $1.23 billion.
