Mullaperiyar: Justice Thomas to represent Kerala
New Delhi: Justice KT Thomas will represent Kerala in the five member empowered panel instituted to study the disputes regarding Mullaperiyar dam.
It is informed that Justice AS Anand has approved the name of Justice K T Thomas.
Kerala and Tamil Nadu was authorised by the Apex court to nominate one member each to the expert panel.
The high-level empowered committee would go into all issues, including the safety aspects of the dam, raising the water level beyond 136 ft and Kerala’s demand for a new dam.
