India under threat from Pak soil: Antoy
Defence Minister A K Antony on Tuesday said India was under terror threat as long as the terrorist groups operated from the Pakistan soil.
Taking to reporters at Kochi, he said it was a fact that as long as the terrorists used Pakistan soil, India had a threat. Mr Antony said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had only said a fact yesterday at the Chief Ministers' Conference on Internal Security wherein he said that there was credible information of ongoing plans of terrorist groups in Pakistan to carry out fresh attacks.
Mr Antony said though India had persistently asked its neighbour to wipe out terrorist groups operating along the Indo-Pak border, nothing had been done.
