Special court rejects relaxation to Sufiaya
Kochi:
Kochi: The special court on Tuesday rejected the petition filed by Soofiya Madani, wife of PDP leader Madani who is listed as the 31st accused in the Bangalore serial blast cases, seeking to allot relaxations in her bail conditions in Kalamassery bus burning case.
The court declined her demand to move out of Ernakulum district. It observed that the petitioner has not cited sufficient reason for relaxation.
Earlier the National Investigation Agency had asked the special court for not to relax the bail condition of Soofiya Madani. It said that the investigation was in the last phase and relaxation of bail condition would pave ways for destroying evidence and to influence witnesses.
