London: People who want to have beautiful babies can now do so with an online dating and community website launched a virtual sperm and egg bank.

Beautifulpeople.com has started its new Beautiful Baby Service for those who cannot have children to be matched with potential donors. The website also boasts of a couple of men whop have registered to help infertile couples or single women to conceive healthy, attractive offspring.

Sky News quoted founder Robert Hintze as saying that they had initially hesitatedto widen the offering to non-beautiful people. ``But everyone - including ugly people - would like to bring good looking children. So can not be selfish with our attractive gene pool,`` he was quoted.

Meanwhile, watchdog group Human Genetics Alert thinks the project would be dangerous for the society.
