Saina is World.No 2
Thiruvananthapuram: Ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal is world No. 2.
Saina who has now 64791.2637 points is just behind Chinese Yihan Wang. China’s Xin Wang is in the third place.
The 20-year-old Saina reached number three after her wins in the India Open Grand Prix and the Singapore Open Super Series. After this, she defended her Indonesian Open Super Series crown and this win jumped her to the second place.
Her next engagement will be in the World badminton Championship in Paris next month, before playing the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games.
